The Open Book Editor Author Coaching service is a single video call or series of video calls in which you get personalised tips about how to improve your skills and choose the right approach for you and your book.
The purpose of this service is to provide you with a safe space to seek guidance and support and to develop your writing ability and build your confidence. Whether you’re looking for an honest assessment of your writing and how you can improve, have questions about planning or writing your book, or would like help deciding the right publishing strategy, I can help.
These consultations are customised to suit you and your book. You can have as many or as few as you feel are necessary and you only pay per session, so there’s no commitment.
For an assessment of up to 5,000 words
and/or
questions about the publishing industry, the right publishing strategy for you, help with planning/developing your book, tips on self-editing, how to stay positive while writing your book or soliciting agents, etc.
£50 per 1-hour call
For an assessment of the full manuscript
Note: The one-time fee covers the initial time needed to read the full manuscript and organise the notes. The calls themselves are charged at the same rate as the Standard Coaching service.
£225 one-time fee + £50 per 1-hour call
